The Level 4 Certificate provides learners with the knowledge and understanding of Anatomy and Physiology, focusing on the science to support the judgments and choices made routinely by practising aestheticians.

The Certificate will enable learners to work independently and intuitively, with science at the core of the decision- making process.

The Certificate will also provide opportunities for learners to develop the necessary competencies to move on to further study or employment.

Course Units

  • Skin morphology and the inflammatory response
  • The biochemistry of cells
  • Skin disorders and diseases relative to aesthetic practice

Contents

  • 1 unit of SAQ’s (Approx 200-300 word answers are required for each question)
  • 3 multiple choice assessments

Course Duration

Up to 6 months from sign up if required.

Pre-course requirements: (Proof of prior qualifications is required)

  • A minimum of a level 3 qualification or equivalent.

Theory Course Delivery

The course will begin with an induction process, followed by SAQ’s handout and support, which we will facilitate via zoom every 4 weeks on a designated day of the week (evening based). You will be required to come into our facility to carry out the multiple choice assessments.

Progression

Gives part of a stepping stone onto level 5 certificate in aesthetic practice.

When booking you will pay a 50% deposit with the balance due on the day.
