Level 5 Diploma in Aesthetic Practice

This QUALIFI qualification provides advanced knowledge and practical training in aesthetic practice, skin rejuvenation and professional clinical standards.

The course is suitable for practitioners who already hold a Level 4 aesthetic qualification and wish to progress their knowledge and practical skills.

Students are assessed through a combination of written coursework, professional discussion, multiple-choice examinations and practical assessments.

Assessment includes:

• 6 Units of Short Answer Question Assignments (approximately 200-300 words per answer)
• 1 Assessed Professional Discussion
• 4 Multiple Choice Question Papers
• Practical competency assessments completed within the academy

This assessment structure is designed to ensure students can demonstrate both theoretical knowledge and practical competence.

Practical assessments take place over 3-4 consecutive training days at our academy and include:

• Day 1: Chemical Peel & Microneedling Training
• Days 2-4: Formative and Summative Practical Assessments

Students will be assessed on their ability to safely perform treatments, manage consultations and demonstrate professional practice standards.

The Level 5 Diploma in Aesthetic Practice is delivered through a flexible blended learning model, combining online study with practical academy-based training.

Students must hold one of the following qualifications:

• A minimum Level 4 qualification in a related sector or equivalent

OR

• QUALIFI Level 4 Certificate in Aesthetic Practice (or equivalent)

OR

• QUALIFI Level 4 Diploma in Aesthetic Procedures for Skin Rejuvenation, including AP301: Skincare to Support Aesthetic Procedures

OR

• QUALIFI Level 4 Diploma in Micropigmentation (or equivalent)

In addition, students must hold:

• A current and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) qualification
• A current and valid Anaphylaxis Management qualification

Proof of qualifications will be required before enrolment.

Yes. While the theory elements are delivered through online learning, Zoom sessions and home study, students are required to attend the academy for practical training and assessment days as part of the qualification.
