Prerequisites- NVQ Level 3 Beauty or equivalent, Nurse / Dental Nurse, Doctor, Dentist – or Dental Practitioner with a GDC number, Pharmacist, Level 4 Micropigmentation with Level 3 A&P, 6 months needling experience and level 3 Anatomy & physiology
On our combined Foundation Dermal Filler & Anti-Wrinkle training courses, you will gain the knowledge and skills to carry out the most requested facial aesthetic injectable treatments in the industry to rejuvenate the face while adding structure and taking away wrinkles.
Your comprehensive hands-on training will be supervised by highly skilled nurse prescriber and experienced aesthetic trainers in small groups to maximise retention of knowledge. You will see demonstrations before moving onto models. Plenty of time is allocated to this part of the day, so that you are confident to practice independently afterwards.
DAY 1 PRACTICAL
Your foundation dermal filler day will start with theory work, this will include information on injection techniques, dermal filler uses and composition, the anatomy of the face, muscles, veins and arteries, we also talk about how filler is dissolved and the complications around administer treatments. Health and safety are also discussed based around aesthetic treatments.
You’ll get to practise your injection techniques and learn about all the different types of filler on the market, plus we give you a list of all the suppliers and wholesalers to purchase your products from moving forward.
We perform live demonstrations taking you through different techniques of the Lips, Nasolabial Folds and Marionette area, you can ask as many questions as you like as the session will be very interactive and you can see how all these treatments are performed.
In the afternoon this is where you get more hands-on!
DAY 2 PRACTICAL
Day 2 of dermal filler techniques will focus purely on practical learning. Practising injection technique using facial mannequins as well as having an abundance of live models throughout the day. After day 2 you will feel confident with all techniques and dermal filler knowledge.
DAY 3 PRACTICAL
Your foundation antiwrinkle day will start with theory work, this will include information on injection techniques, botulinum toxin uses and composition, the anatomy of the face, muscles, veins and arteries, we also talk about different complications around administering the treatment. Health and safety are also discussed based around aesthetic treatments.
You’ll get to practise your injection techniques and learn about all the different types of botulinum toxin on the market, plus we give you a list of all the suppliers and wholesalers to purchase your products from moving forward.
We perform live demonstrations taking you through different techniques of administering to the forehead, around the eye and between the brows, you can ask as many questions as you like as the session will be very interactive and you can see how all these treatments are performed.
You will receive lifelong support and guidance after you have completed training with us.
