Prerequisites- NVQ Level 3 Beauty or equivalent, Nurse / Dental Nurse, Doctor, Dentist – or Dental Practitioner with a GDC number, Pharmacist, Level 4 Micropigmentation with Level 3 A&P, 6 months needling experience and level 3 Anatomy & physiology
On our combined Dermal Filler training course, you will gain the knowledge and skills to carry out the most requested facial aesthetic injectable treatments in the industry. You will learn how to safely inject lips, cheeks, marionette lines, nasolabial folds, tear troughs, chin, nose and jawline with needle and cannula.
Your comprehensive hands-on training will be supervised by highly skilled and experienced aesthetic trainers in small groups to maximise retention of knowledge. You will see demonstrations before moving onto models. Plenty of time is allocated to this part of the day, so that you are confident to practice independently afterwards.
DAY 1 PRACTICAL
Your foundation dermal filler day will start with theory work, this will include information on injection techniques, dermal filler uses and composition, the anatomy of the face, muscles, veins and arteries, we also talk about how filler is dissolved and the complications around administer treatments. Health and safety are also discussed based around aesthetic treatments.
You’ll get to practise your injection techniques and learn about all the different types of filler on the market, plus we give you a list of all the suppliers and wholesalers to purchase your products from moving forward.
We perform live demonstrations taking you through different techniques of the Lips, Nasolabial Folds and Marionette area, you can ask as many questions as you like as the session will be very interactive and you can see how all these treatments are performed.
In the afternoon this is where you get more hands-on!
DAY 2 PRACTICAL
Put your skills to the test as the second day of Foundation Fillers is a full day of live models! We now get each student to work on an individual model under the supervision of the tutor. You will now get the chance to start working towards completing your case studies for the Foundation Dermal Filler course and we will be with you every step of the way!
DAY 3 PRACTICAL
Day 3 comprises of advanced dermal filler techniques, you will learn advanced needle-based application including cheeks, jawline, chin and tear trough.
DAY 4 PRACTICAL
Put your skills to the test as the second day of Advanced Dermal Fillers is a full day of live models! We now get each student to work on an individual model under the supervision of the tutor. You will now get the chance to start working towards completing your case studies for the Advanced Dermal Filler course and we will be with you every step of the way!
DAY 5 PRACTICAL
Day 5 is all about cannula work. We work on all the same areas you have learnt in your advanced dermal fillers, including nasal folds and marionette lines.
We perform live demonstrations taking you through different techniques of cannula application, you can ask as many questions as you like as the session will be very interactive and you can see how cannula treatments are performed.
In the afternoon this is where you get more hands-on!
You will receive lifelong support and guidance after you have completed training with us.
