This course is ideal for those wishing to internal verify the assessment process in a training environment. You should have been in the assessors role for a significant time and should have good specialist knowledge in the area that you wish to IQA.
The VTCT Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (QCF) is a practical-based qualification intended for those who maintain the quality of assessment from within an organisation or assessment centre.
It is a Level 4 award and has been developed for internal quality assurance staff. This qualification is approved and supported by Lifelong Learning UK, now a division of The Learning and Skills Improvement Service (LSIS), the sector-owned body for the learning and skills sector.
This qualification provides the knowledge and skills required to progress to employment as an internal verifier.
The course consists of three units:

Internally assure the quality of assessment
This course is distance learning where you will be completing assignment style questions through our virtual classroom. Once all written work is completed you will need to attend 1 day in our academy to complete your practical teaching assessments.
